Description

Dutchess Cannabis is seeking a dynamic and strategic District Manager to lead multiple locations within our organization. This energetic leader will drive operational excellence, foster team development, and ensure profitable growth across their district. As a key member of the leadership team, you will implement strategic initiatives, oversee business management activities, and cultivate a high-performance culture that aligns with our company's mission to deliver outstanding customer service and operational efficiency. The District Manager effectively leads their team of Store Managers and ensures strong retail performance, with responsibilities in driving sales, customer satisfaction, and P&L management of the retail stores.

Ideal candidate will reside in Cincinnati, OH area and able to commute to the following cities Wapakoneta, Hillsboro, Solon

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Monitor the P&L reports for each store and develop effective ways to fill in any gaps between actual performance and company
  • projections
  • Prioritize store performance issues to make certain that the issues most directly affecting profitability are addressed first
  • Immediately address any lapses in compliance with corporate policies or local, state, and federal laws
  • Ensuring district-wide customer satisfaction and product quality
  • Act as a coach to the store managers and as a resource to each store employee to help inspire the success of each store
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail performance, ensuring efficient and sound operations, maximum profit, and a best-in- class store experience
  • Establish and ensure key performance indicators (KPI) are being tracked and maintained in all store locations
  • Anticipate market trends and opportunities by analyzing existing product performance, customer insights, and individual store KPI's
  • Ensure best-in-class customer experience exists by staying connected to customer needs, anticipating changes, and preparing teams to meet consumer challenges
  • Maintain active presence in the stores and provide support for in store events
  • Analyze and create weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to develop, execute and evaluate strategies for opening new retail locations
  • Establish staffing levels for new stores and partner with Human Resources and senior leadership to ensure a proper hiring plan is in place
  • Ensure successful implementation of POS system in new locations, including employee training
  • Maintain physical presence throughout store set up and store openings
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan merchandising plans, promotional signage, and social media strategies
  • Partner with cross functional leaders and Store Managers to monitor store inventory, staffing and other critical operational functions to optimize store performance
  • Partner with Compliance, senior leadership and HR to implement Standard Operating Procedures for all retail locations, and ensure they are in full compliance with local, state, and federal laws.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years' experience in a multiunit management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS strong organizational, project management and time management skills to successfully implement strategic initiatives from initial idea through execution
  • Strong quantitative, analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication, critical-thinking, and presentation skills; including the ability to provide written and verbal direction effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and prioritize workload to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
  • Must be a collaborative team player who can both nurture and develop retail management
  • Proven leadership ability, as well as strength in building internal partnerships
  • Ability to think strategically and develop achievable long-term goals
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills to successfully implement strategic initiatives from initial idea through execution
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Superior interpersonal skills including strong public speaking abilities
  • 80% travel; hours and days of availability may fluctuate during times of greater demand
