Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred. - Working towards an HR designation preferred. - 5 years of progressive human resources experience preferred. - Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information. - Ability to research, analyze information and data, and make recommendations. - Able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization. - Able to mentor and coach entry-level human resources professionals. - Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome. - Strong networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks. - Demonstrated critical-thinking skills.
