As the
Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of the Little Rock DC, providing team leadership to the Protective and Marine Coatings (PMC) warehouse managers at PMC and 3PL warehouse locations, and related transportation operations. In addition to oversight of facility operations and personnel management, you will be responsible for overall performance of the PMC inbound and outbound distribution network.

Responsibilities: - Oversee fulfillment of domestic and international orders. Ensure all documents comply with DOT and IMDG rules and regulations.
- Remain current regarding transportation regulations including hazardous material transportation packaging requirements.
- Lead the safe operation of the warehouse network including tinting operations.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts and that warehouse inventories are maintained in a saleable condition.
- Identify and efficiently dispose of aged or damaged products.
- Ensure proper rotation of stock so as not to create problems with expired shelf life.
- Monitor manpower and equipment need and make recommendations for requirements necessary to support the PMC business.
- Provide leadership for PMC USCA logistics operations including transportation scheduling and carrier performance management.
- Work with corporate logistics to ensure vendor selections meet business requirements.
- As directed, procure unique transportation services for global marine local delivers.
- Develop or assist in the development and maintenance of shipping policy and procedures (i.e. blocking and bracing techniques to be employed, establishing staging area for carriers, etc.).
- Complete other duties as requested by the Business Unit Leadership to support business objectives.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain.
• 5+ years' applicable experience in distribution, logistics or manufacturing.
• Computer skills including MS Office Suite, SAP, Warehouse Management, and ERP reporting.
- Good organizational skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise an operations team and apply sound judgment.
