Job Description:IMS is currently seeking a Distribution Manager to work in our Kenosha, WI distribution facility. The Distribution Manager is responsible for the proper handling, packaging and shipping of product to the customer. This position reports to a Sr. Distribution Manager and may be subject to a changing schedule based on current demand.
Primary Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:- Account service - work with account teams and Client project managers to plan projects, communicate details, submit estimates if needed, and ensure our understanding of the project meets clients expectations.
- P&L responsibilities - aggressively manage monthly forecasts, monitor GP and tightly control expenses
- Inventory management - aggressively manage process compliance in receiving, shipping and inventory control.
- Project management - develop and manage all aspects of a project by planning staff, space, and supplies.
- Quality assurance - key driver to guarantee quality meets or exceeds client's requirements.
- Oversee kit pack-out and distribution - work with the team to deliver accurate, efficient, on-time pack-out at or under budget.
- Comply with ISO 9001:2008 procedures - reinforce & continually work to improve standards
- Project completion - oversee the close of a project which includes computer system work, facility clean-up, product put-away, and invoicing.
- Staffing - assist in staff hiring, training, development, motivation, and performance against measurement. 10 - 50 direct reports (includes contracted labor)
- Safety & OSHA - assure all employees follow Federal, State and OSHA requirements for safety and operations.

- Having a hands-on management style with all employees.
- Possessing strong project management and organizational skills.
- Having strong knowledge of POS kit packing requirements.
- Being pro-active in their thinking and planning; demonstrating the ability to think through issues, recognizing areas of potential concern or improvement and developing solutions.
- Having the ability to professionally represent IMS in Client and vendor meetings.
- Relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Leading and directing the work of others.
Experience/Qualifications:- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with excel and intermediate skills to include (Pivot tables, vlookup, formatting, and data organizing)
- Minimum of eight years of distribution and project management experience in the POP/POS industry.
- Experience starting up new clients & facilities, working with WMS & RF and having Six Sigma experience is a plus.
