Golin Ketchum is looking for a Managing Account Supervisor, Corporate Affairs to join our team! This role sits in our rapidly growing Executive and Employee Advisory.

What You'll Do:

The Employee and Executive Advisory team helps clients navigate change, create more connected employee experiences and help leaders make a meaningful impact. This is a tremendous opportunity to work on high profile accounts across a variety of industries, build trusted relationships with clients and do work that makes a direct impact on our client's business.

Our work starts with understanding both an organization's goals and the employees who bring them to life. We help clients shape culture, engage their workforces and tell a powerful story internally. We support internal change initiatives by helping employees understand not just what is changing, but why it matters and how they can play a role. We also support leaders in finding their voice, refining their stories and connecting with the people who matter most, uncovering the story only they can tell-and making sure it reaches the right audience at the right time. The role includes:
  • Perform a wide range of duties, including development of client programs, project management, strategic plan writing, trend reporting, staff development, financial management. Serve as key liaison among client, account team and agency management
  • Manage day-to-day account needs
  • Be client-facing, continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on an ongoing basis; anticipate and address clients' needs
  • Troubleshoot clients' problems as they arise; seek senior management input whenever appropriate
  • Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback; encourage team to take advantage of training and development opportunities
  • Build understanding and knowledge of the clients' business and their competitive environments
  • Demonstrate knowledge of proactive and reactive media strategies, thought leadership, and executive visibility programming
  • Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials including internal communications, correspondence and plans
  • Strive to develop the best communication and presentation skills possible to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others
  • Manage account financials including budget development and tracking, time sheets, client billing, supplier invoicing and purchase orders
  • Access agency's network of resources to deliver greatest value to clients
  • Work with account team(s) to build incremental business
  • Participate in new business programming and presentations
  • Stay on top of trends in the industry; bring them to the attention of clients and associates, as appropriate


What You Have:

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, talented writer and critical thinker who takes initiative and brings a high level of professionalism to the work. You have strong project management skills, are collaborative and are comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. You approach work with curiosity, sound judgment and a genuine interest in helping clients communicate in clear, relevant and compelling ways.

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • At least 6 years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and teams
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field preferred


$100,000 - $130,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
