OverviewENERCON's Power Delivery group is seeking an experienced Distribution Engineer to join our growing team. From reviewing design products to providing technical guidance and leadership, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with your work every day. This role can be located in one of our offices in:
- Kennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta)
- Charlotte, NC
- Emeryville, CA (Suburb of San Francisco)
- Spring, TX (suburb of Houston)
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll champion quality and consistency, apply best practices to systems, and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Other duties may include:
- Design & Compliance: Ensure designs meet client, industry, and regulatory standards
- Quality Assurance: Review designs for consistency, quality, and adherence to standards
- Communication & Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory counterparts
- Leadership & Adaptability: Guide teams, manage workloads, and maintain production in changing conditions #LI-MB1
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or similar), or equivalent education and/or experience
- Typically has a minimum of 3 years of Power Delivery experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution system design engineering standards and practices, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of NESC and other applicable codes and standards
- Strong computer (e.g. Microsoft Office) and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to learn and operate client provided programs and systems
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Ability to travel up to 20 - 25% of the time to client sites (expected to travel at least one time per month) for project and/or marketing meetings
Compensation RangeUSD $75,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
