As a Senior Operations Manager, our ideal candidate will be supporting the Director of Operations by being the primary leader responsible for the end-to-end operational execution of our distribution center.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of all inbound and outbound departments.
- Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of managers and supervisors, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the distribution center.
- Provides strategic and operational leadership with full accountability for P&L results.
- Develop, implement, and monitor long and short-range operating plans to support the needs and growth of the business.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and other regulations
- Participate in creating and executing annual operating budgets in partnership with the Director of the distribution center.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse layouts, reduce waste, and improve overall facility efficiency.
- Mentor and coach a leadership bench, fostering a culture of accountability, high engagement, and professional growth.
- Work closely with all business partners to ensure multiple directives are met.
- Maintain all established through-put standards.
- Meet budget goals and productivity standards.
What You'll Bring- 7+ years of progressive experience managing multiple DC functions.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Successful track record of managing facility culture, e.g. motivation, team engagement, coaching.
- Proficiency in material handling equipment and distribution processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Outstanding analytical skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, up to 75lbs.
- Temperatures in the warehouse vary with the seasons. Dress code is casual and clean.

Salary Range for the Senior Operations Manager position in Virginia - $140,000 - $165,000 Annually
Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.
