Position Summary...
As a Distinguished Experience Strategist at Walmart, you will lead the development and evolution of enterprise-wide experience architectures, driving innovation through advanced analytics, AI integration, and strategic foresight. This role partners with senior leadership to translate complex insights into actionable roadmaps that enhance member, associate, and business outcomes across digital and physical environments. You will guide research programs, pilot initiatives, and capability-building efforts while representing the company in external forums. Your expertise will influence executive decisions and shape the future of experience strategy to support Walmart's transformation and long-term success.

What you'll do...

About the team:
This team is dedicated to transforming the club associate experience at Sam's Club by redesigning end-to-end journeys, services, and operational systems that empower associates to excel. Collaborating across Business, Operations, Product, and Technology, we address complex challenges at the intersection of people, processes, and technology. Utilizing a systems-thinking approach, we enhance how experiences connect across the associate ecosystem, creating streamlined, intuitive workflows that drive improved outcomes for associates, members, and the business. This integrated focus supports innovation and operational excellence throughout the organization.

What you'll do:
  • Define and evolve enterprise-wide experience architectures, including systems, standards, and governance models to guide design and delivery across functions.
  • Lead breakthrough initiatives integrating advanced analytics, AI-assisted design, and research practices to accelerate innovation.
  • Translate experience architectures into measurable outcomes across digital, physical, and operational environments.
  • Partner with senior executives to identify emerging trends and future-state experience opportunities.
  • Establish external partnerships to advance enterprise maturity and innovation capability.
  • Advise leadership on experience innovation, transformation, and investment prioritization.
  • Direct enterprise-level research programs and synthesize insights to guide strategic prioritization.
  • Facilitate enterprise-scale experimentation and pilot programs, ensuring measurable and repeatable validation.
  • Build internal capability through masterclasses, coaching, and best-practice frameworks.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
