Requirement:DISA International Engagements Specialist
Job Description: Forge is hiring an international engagements specialist that has experience providing SC/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program management support to the Department of War and supporting engagements with partner nations. This position will support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) International Relations and Engagements Branch. DISA's mission is to conduct Department of War (DoW) Information Network operations for the joint warfighter to enable lethality across all warfighting domains in defense of our nation.
Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):
- Provide meeting support and coordinate amongst stakeholders for international engagements between DISA and international partners, including, briefing/presentation materials, meeting minutes, action item tracking reports, talking points, background papers and action item follow-up support.
- Coordinate pre-engagement, day-of logistics, and post-engagement activities for international engagements and foreign official visits to DISA HQ.
- Monitor and analyze activities of international organizations to identify strategic engagement opportunities for DISA.
- Maintain and update agency database of international visits information.
- Maintain an organized record of all meeting materials (agendas, presentations, minutes, etc.)
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports on the Agency's international activities.
- Conduct monthly audits to recommend compliance improvements for DISA's international acquisition activities.
Qualifications/Requirements: The Candidate must have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They must also build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The Candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. We are looking for candidates with an active DoD Secret Security clearance, at least 3 years of program management support experience, including supporting Security Cooperation/FMS programs and/or engagements with international partners.
Minimum Qualifications: - US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
- An active final DoD SECRET security clearance
- 3+ years of program management experience, including support to DoW
- Experience coordinating engagements with foreign nationals, including logistics coordination and brief/talking point development
- Effective interpersonal communication and the ability to build collaborative business relationships both internally and externally
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI
Highly Desired Qualifications: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) coursework
- Experience supporting Security Cooperation programs, preferably FMS programs
