Job DescriptionDirectors Technology - Platform
- Direct & oversee architecture, design & develop of enterprise retail backend platforms, incl microservices-based APIs, middleware services, checkout systems, transaction processing engines, & data synchronization systems using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, RabbitMQ, RESTful APIs, & relational databases such as MySQL & PostgreSQL.
- Establish/govern enterprise system architecture standards.
- Lead integration architecture for secure payment processing connections.
RequirementsMinimum Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related plus 60 months of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Software Professional. 5 years designing, architecting, and leading REST-based back-end API platforms in enterprise environments. 3 years working with high-volume retail/e-commerce transaction systems. 3 years implementing event-driven architectures using distributed messaging. 3 years with PCI-DSS-compliant payment architectures, secure transaction frameworks, and integrations with major payment processors. 3 years with distributed systems, performance tuning, database optimization, scalability, and high availability. 3 years leading, managing and mentoring senior engineers and driving cross-functional initiatives across product, operations, and infrastructure.
