Full Job Description
We9re looking for a West Coast Account Director of Sales to maximize revenue across Match Group9s properties, including flagship brands Tinder, Match, OkCupid, POF, BLK, and Chispa.

Our team is looking for an Account Director of Sales to represent our leading brands to major ad agencies and clients. Reporting to the Global Head of Sales, the West Coast Account Director will have ownership and responsibility for client and agency relationships in the designated region. He/she will be responsible for helping to identify prospects, securing meetings, presenting our capabilities, and proposing and closing Direct and Programmatic business. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced digital media seller.

Match Media Group is the marketing and advertising division within the Match Group that builds and offers advertising solutions across category-leading brands focused on singles and first-time connections, including Tinder, Match.com, OkCupid, BLK, Chispa, Plenty of Fish, HER, and over 25 other properties, to help brands and agencies find innovative ways to reach passionate audiences and connect with their consumers.

When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our LA office 3 days/week.

How you9ll make an impact:

  • You will identify and pursue new business partners for The Match Group9s portfolio.
  • You will build on existing relationships with clients and agencies.
  • You will create professional and actionable sales presentations.
  • You will oversee the execution and deliver high-quality responses to RFPs.
  • You will strive to exceed the team9s pricing targets and sales goals.
  • You are responsible for driving new and growing existing revenue through long-term contracts and contract negotiation.
  • You will develop new relationships with clients and agencies on behalf of our brands.


We may be a Match if:

  • You have a Bachelor9s degree.
  • You have 8+ years of online media sales experience.
  • You MUST have relationships with top marketing decision-makers in the F1000 and major ad agencies.
  • You have existing relationships on both client and agency sides.
  • You have a proven track record of managing a team, beating quotas, and growing a territory.
  • You have demonstrated experience in structuring, winning, and managing complex six-figure deals.
  • You have strong references from agency and brand clients.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
