Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of product design experience, with 5 years of experience leading design for mobile OS or browser integrations (e.g. Gemini in Chrome), the integrated assistant on Android, or AI-integrated products.
- Experience leading senior teams and managing managers.
Preferred qualifications:- Experience launching complex, zero-to-one consumer interfaces, mobile applications, or developer platforms.
- Conceptual comfort with API integrations, on-device system constraints, and LLM behavior. Experience with front-end prototyping (e.g., HTML/JS, Flutter, or declarative frameworks).

This is a high-impact, pioneering role chartered with designing how people command, collaborate with, and steer AI-native system interactions in real-time.
In this role, you will partner deeply with a team of machine learning scientists, engineering leads, and user researchers to translate multimodal reasoning into a tactile, effortless, and beautiful system utility.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $344,000-$383,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
