Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days/week on-site requirement.Location: Philadelphia, PA (Walnut St.)Job DescriptionPosition SummaryAs Director, US Strategy, Oncology, Lung and GU, you will lead the development and execution of the US launch strategy across the portfolio, driving launch readiness, maximizing portfolio value, and advancing lifecycle innovation. Partnering closely with the US Asset Lead and cross-functional leadership team, you will translate customer, market, and business insights into strategic priorities and executable plans.
You will lead cross-functional launch planning, including go-to-market strategy, field deployment, readiness, performance metrics, and key strategic initiatives, while ensuring organizational alignment across Marketing, Sales, Medical, Market Access, Insights & Analytics, and Commercial Operations.
In addition, you will identify lifecycle growth opportunities and lead select marketing initiatives from strategy through execution. This role combines strategic leadership and commercial execution, requiring the ability to shape strategy, mobilize teams, and deliver measurable business impact.
Key responsibilities:- Lead US Commercial and Launch Strategy, translating market, customer, competitive and business insights into clear strategic priorities critical SuccessFactors and integrated plans to drive launch readiness and performance
- Drive cross functional launch planning and integration, partnering across marketing, sales, medical, market access, insights and analytics, commercial operations and other functions to align priorities, identify dependencies and risks, and ensure organizational readiness
- Shape Go-To-Market strategy and commercial model, including customer segmentation and targeting field force sizing and deployment, channel and engagement strategy, and other capabilities required to optimize launch execution
- Identify and advance lifecycle innovation opportunities across the portfolio, evaluating opportunities to strengthen differentiation, address evolving customer needs and maximize long term commercial value
- Lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives and tactics, mobilizing appropriate internal and agency partners to translate strategy into high-quality execution and measurable business impact
- Invest in people and culture, developing and empowering team members while fostering A collaborative, inclusive and high-performing environment that enables individuals and teams to do their best work
Why You?
Basic QualificationsWe are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field
- 4+ years in pharmaceutical marketing, two of which are specifically in oncology.
- Demonstrated in-line (brand) marketing experience
- Experience in strategy development and execution
- Experience working with and managing external agencies, vendors and consultants in support of marketing plans and field team needs
- Experience with leading cross-functional teams and effectivelyworking across a matrix environment and influence with/without formal authority
Preferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- MBA, MPH, PharmD, RPh or equivalent advanced degree
- Lung cancer and/or GU experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading or supporting a pharmaceutical product launch, preferably in oncology
- Sales and/or Sales Leadership Experience
- Experience presenting recommendations to senior and executive leadership
