  • Facilitate individual development planning and provide 1:1 development support.
  • Design and coordinate Baseball-specific leadership cohorts and development programs.
  • Create opportunities for cross-functional exposure, stretch assignments and career progression.

Performance & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Coach Baseball Operations leaders on goal setting, continuous feedback, development planning and effective performance conversations.
  • Facilitate Baseball Operations talent and succession discussions.
  • Partner with Baseball Operations leadership and P&C on organizational design, team effectiveness and leadership-structure needs.
  • Ensure our workplace is inclusive and welcoming for everyone, identifying and removing obstacles to success.

Qualifications:

  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  3. Ability to build programs or practices that identify talent, support individual development, strengthen leadership capability, or create career pathways.
  4. Ability to understand organizational needs, develop practical solutions, and lead initiatives from concept through implementation.
  5. Strong coaching, facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to earn trust and influence leaders at multiple levels.

Travel and Schedule:
  • Periodic domestic and international travel is required, including travel to Pirates facilities and other Baseball Operations locations. Travel frequency may vary throughout the year based on organizational needs.
