Job Details:
PURPOSE
Leads all executive, administrative and staff talent acquisition and workforce development activities including strategic planning and implementation of recruitment and workforce initiatives for UT Dell Medical School’s operating entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership and Development
Master’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Education, Public Health or related field.
10 years progressive professional level Human Resources experience with focus on workforce development, preferably in an academic medical center setting.
Demonstrated leadership and process improvement skills in complex environments.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and strategic and critical systems thinking; ability to make sound decisions independently; action and solutions oriented.
Demonstrated analytical, forecasting, and project management skills to turn data into insights and action plans aligned with strategic priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSProfessional HR certification such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP or Certified Health Care Staffing Professional (CHP)
HR experience in a public academic medical center with specific knowledge of Texas Government Code related to compensation and benefits.
