We are seeking a Director, Systems & Core Connectivity (Video Services) within the newly structured Build & Execute strategic pillar. This role represents a critical modification and elevation to support the Systems & Core Connectivity function for Video and OTT products within the Product & Revenue organization.

This is a newly created people leadership role. You will lead the strategic development, system engineering, and delivery of next-generation IP video products (Fios TV+, Stream TV, 3rd Party OTT partners) across fiber and wireless networks and formulate and execute the long-term technical migration strategy to transition subscribers from legacy QAM networks to modern IPTV platforms, enabling infrastructure cost reductions.

You are an innovative product and technical leader with a deep understanding of the rapidly evolving video and streaming landscape. You are passionate about building the next generation of entertainment platforms, yet you have the operational discipline to manage legacy television infrastructure efficiently. You excel at leading teams through massive technical transformations, such as migrating millions of subscribers from legacy hardware to modern IPTV systems. You understand how to combine technical design with commercial strategy to deliver award-winning, seamless customer experiences across all devices and platforms.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Ten or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

• Experience in video product management, systems engineering, or leading technical product trials.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Advanced Degree: Master of Science in Computer Science, Video Engineering, or an MBA.

• Video Migration & Architecture: Extensive experience managing legacy QAM-to-IPTV subscriber migrations and modernizing core video distribution networks.

• Platform Product Delivery: Success in developing, launching, and scaling modern video and streaming solutions (such as Fios TV+ or Stream TV) across fiber and wireless networks.

• Trial Operations Governance: Proven experience leading large-scale customer trial programs, beta testing, and customer feedback loops to ensure product launch readiness.

• High-Volume Systems: Experience managing media processing, content delivery networks (CDNs), and DRM security in high-throughput video streaming environments.

• Strategic Vendor & Content Operations: Strong experience collaborating with external video technology providers, software vendors, and content partners to deliver seamless media integrations.
