About the Job The Director of Supply Chain & Planning will oversee the execution, and optimization of all supply chain and planning functions in support of Parry Labs' advanced hardware and software solutions. This role is critical to ensuring that complex aerospace and defense programs are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and customer requirements. The Director will lead procurement, supplier management, production planning, logistics, and inventory control.
Duties & Responsibilities- Develop and lead an integrated supply chain strategy that supports current production programs and scales for new product introductions (NPI) in aerospace and defense hardware.
- Manage procurement and supplier qualification processes, including flowdown of AS9100, ISO, and ITAR requirements to subcontractors and vendors.
- Negotiate and maintain supplier agreements to secure critical materials, electronics, and mechanical components while managing risk and total cost of ownership.
- Oversee production scheduling and materials planning to support high-volume programs (e.g., Defenders, Autonomy, Hypers, Micros) while ensuring flexibility for prototype and pre-production builds.
- Implement and optimize ERP/MRP systems for planning accuracy, inventory management, and production execution.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management to ensure supply chain readiness for and contract deliverables.
- Manage logistics and distribution networks to ensure on-time delivery of systems to defense customers worldwide.
- Develop, mentor, and lead the supply chain and planning team, building a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and compliance.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-tech electronics manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO standards, ITAR compliance, and government contracting requirements.
- Proven success in supplier negotiations, risk management, and global sourcing of electronics and electromechanical systems.
- Experience implementing and scaling ERP/MRP systems to support complex hardware. (CostPoint Preferred)
- Active or eligible for a U.S. security clearance preferred.
