Job Summary

The Director, Supply Chain, Enterprise is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the overall Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions across the Enterprise. The position will develop, implement and develop continuous improvement practices and operational models across the department that optimize and enhance operating results across the Enterprise. This includes the development and implementation of standard policies, procedures and overall systems related to the sourcing and monitoring of tools, rentals, capital equipment, major material procurement activities, and subcontracts.

Essential Functions

  • Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics."
  • Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."
  • Acts as a resource to Company leadership and employees as a Supply Chain subject matter expert.
  • Leads and supports ongoing transformation of current Supply Chain operations, driving continuous improvement.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements SCM processes throughout the Company to best collaborate with Operations Management/Project Management.
  • Leverages industry benchmarks and best practices to define and drive Supply Chain toward best-in-class performance including the development and implementation of standard work processes, procedures and related internal auditing guidelines.
  • Partners with senior and operational management updates regarding the status of existing and new SCM initiatives.
  • Develops and reports KPIs for Supply Chain activities and initiatives.
  • Coordinates and monitors financial improvements, savings and leveraged buying targets.
  • Analyzes regional supplier pricing of consumables, tools, services and construction equipment; evaluates, negotiates, and administers national accounts for applicable vendors.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of database of vendors and vendor pricing.
  • Drives cross-functional alignment with Information Technology and business stakeholders in the negotiation, implementation, and governance of vendor agreements and support frameworks.
  • Establishes and oversees enterprise-wide standards for national agreements, vendor Terms & Conditions, partnering with Legal to mitigate risk and support business objectives.
  • Establishes a Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) and Purchase Order review and monitoring process.
  • Provides strategic oversight of vendor agreements, partnering with IT and functional leaders to drive business objectives.
  • Directs cross-functional quality and operational oversight activities to ensure the effective evaluation, qualification, compliance, and auditing of Supplier Quality Programs.
  • Responsible for Home Office and Field Procurement, Expediting, Logistics and Subcontract personnel, practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Supports Proposal Delivery with supply chain aspects with operations, proposal delivery and estimating leads with vendor pricing and considerations.
  • Provides strategic leadership for succession planning, performance management, mentoring, and employee development to ensure a highly engaged workforce and a strong leadership pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction, Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant experience related field, preferred.
  • 12+ years of supply chain management experience, including 5+ years of managerial experience with demonstrated leadership and organizational management skills.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), and APIC's preferred.
  • Experience with Smart Materials (Hexagon), Loop Core (Octave), Tool Watch, Jovix, Penta as well as other Industry proven SCM applications preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement new ideas and initiatives that improve the organization's performance; able to coach others to develop and maintain change management skills, overcoming resistance to change.
  • Strong safety leadership - high priority on safety, with a continual emphasis on driving and maintaining a strong safety culture.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and public relations skills; strong knowledge of contract negotiations.
  • Experience with Lean Enterprise concepts a plus.
  • Strong computer knowledge, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and material management software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed/required.
