The Strategy & Transformation Director will play a critical role in operationalizing Kimberly-Clark's enterprise strategy by helping the enterprise transform its path to growth, cost effectiveness, and ways of working. The role is designed for a strategic operator who can bring structure to ambiguity, develop value initiatives with Segment and Functional leaders, build credible business cases and execution plans, and ensure priorities are integrated into the company's operating rhythm so the organization can deliver sustained impact.

You will partner closely with Segment and Functional leadership teams to identify value opportunities, translate them into initiatives with clear ambition and business cases, provide structured problem solving and analytic support, define milestones and ownership, and mobilize cross-functional teams to move from idea to execution.

You will also help establish the management mechanisms needed to track progress, surface risks, resolve roadblocks, and maintain leadership focus on the priorities most critical to Kimberly-Clark's strategic and transformation ambition. The role requires strong strategic judgment, structured problem solving, executive presence, and the ability to influence outcomes through facts, relationships, and disciplined follow-through.

About You

In one of our professional roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Partner with the Chief Operating Officer, Segment Presidents, Global Functional leaders, Corporate Strategy, and senior initiative owners to shape and align on the priorities that are critical to delivering Kimberly-Clark's strategic and transformation ambition.
  • Work with Segment and Functional leadership teams to develop value initiatives, clarify the ambition and expected impact, build credible business cases, and mobilize teams against the highest-value opportunities.
  • Translate enterprise priorities into a sequenced portfolio of initiatives with clear milestones, owners, governance, decision points, resourcing needs, and cross-functional support required to move from idea to execution.
  • Drive leadership discussion and debate on prioritization, trade-offs, strategic choices, acceleration opportunities, and risks to value delivery using facts, judgment, and personal impact to build credibility and influence outcomes.
  • Provide structured problem solving and analytic support to initiative teams, including framing business questions, developing hypotheses, conducting analysis, sizing opportunities, identifying root causes, and translating insights into practical recommendations.
  • Develop and execute the approach to ensure transformation priorities are set up for success with credible plans, resourcing, investment, leadership attention, and integration into the company's operating rhythm.
  • Build mechanisms to understand progress against opportunity, establish accountability, identify gaps and risks, and enable timely escalation, decision making, roadblock removal, and course correction.
  • Partner with initiative teams to drive outcomes by acting as a thought partner on full-potential opportunity, strategic choices, execution discipline, acceleration, and de-risking of value delivery.
  • Provide targeted, high-impact support on critical initiatives directly or by mobilizing internal strategy, transformation, consulting, or initiative teams as needed.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
  • 10+ years of business experience in strategy consulting, transformation, corporate strategy, enterprise program leadership, business analysis, or a related business or functional discipline.
  • MBA from a top-tier business school is highly preferred, with demonstrated business success in strategy, marketing, finance, operations, sales analytics, or related functional leadership roles.
  • Strategic Storytelling and Executive Communication: Outstanding written, verbal, storytelling, and presentation skills, including the ability to create clear, executive-ready materials for C-suite leaders and the Board of Directors.
  • Structured Problem Solving: Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems, frame key questions, develop practical workplans, and translate complexity into clear choices and recommendations.

  • Business Judgment: Ability to assess business risks, opportunities, trade-offs, and implementation realities and translate them into practical recommendations that improve outcomes.
  • Initiative and Motivation: Highly motivated self-starter who is performance driven, comfortable operating independently, and able to move work forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consumer, CPG, and Retail Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of key players, dynamics, trends, industry analyses, and metrics is helpful.
  • Collaboration: Enjoys working across teams, building productive relationships, and leading through influence in a matrixed environment.
