Position Overview

Position Summary:

The Director, Strategic Execution is a high-impact enterprise leader responsible for turning complex, high-priority opportunities into structured initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes. This role is responsible for personally leading critical workstreams while elevating the capabilities of teams across the organization.

 

This role oversees strategy, financial planning, and operational process improvement for the organization. Leads cross functional teams in providing analysis and strategic planning and then partners with Field Operations leaders and key functional leaders at resource center to drive company performance.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise-wide, high-priority initiatives from ideation through execution
  • Create standard operating procedures, checklists, and playbooks to build internal capabilities to instate a best-in-class
  • Translate loosely defined problems into clear hypotheses, structured workplans, and executable roadmaps
  • Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure timelines, milestones, and outcomes are achieved
  • Identify risks early and proactively course-correct to maintain momentum
  • Partner closely with leaders across corporate and field functions to align priorities and drive outcomes
  • Influence without formal authority; build trust quickly and challenge assumptions constructively
  • Navigate complex organizational dynamics with sound judgment—knowing when to push, pause, or redirect
  • Facilitate decision-making by framing trade-offs and presenting clear, actionable recommendations
  • Leverage data to inform strategy and execution, primarily using Microsoft suite and related tools
  • Partner in building financial and operational models, scenarios, and dashboards to support decision-making
  • Synthesize complex data into clear insights and executive-ready narratives
  • Continuously evaluate initiative performance and adjust based on data-driven learnings
  • Bring structure and clarity to undefined or evolving problem spaces
  • Operate effectively without complete information; make informed decisions with speed and confidence
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a team-based environment within a matrix hierarchy structure
  • Establish direction, priorities, and next steps in fast-moving environments
  • Create alignment where none exists and drive progress despite uncertainty

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • Work experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or similar high-performance environments
    • Multi-year experience in the healthcare services and/or other multi-site industries
    • Experience leading or working within a Project Management Office, either at a major consulting firm or within a large organization undergoing transformation
    • Experience working with executives/senior leaders
  • Knowledge and Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and similar software packages
    • Strong business acumen across operations, finance, and organizational strategy
    • Proven track record leading complex, cross functional initiatives with measurable results
    • Advanced problem solving and analysis skills
    • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear frameworks and action plans
    • Skilled in developing executive level presentations and communications
    • Fluent in financial statements, creation of financial analytics and operating/process metrics
    • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
    • Experience with project management frameworks and software tools such as MS-Project, Smartsheet preferred

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

Physical Demands: 

  • Ability to fulfill office activities including but not limited to remain stationary for extended periods of time (i.e. while working at a desk), stoop/kneel/crouch, travel around the office, communicate with others (verbal and written), and use fine motor skills including fine hand manipulation and keyboarding.
  • Ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Minimum Salary/WageUSD $150,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary/WageUSD $180,000.00/Yr.
