Consistent with the mission and vision of UCSF Health, drives strategic planning efforts across a broad spectrum of business units, growth topics and stakeholder forums employing a myriad of written and verbal communication methods and project management tools.
- In collaboration with senior leadership and clinical partners, facilitates strategic planning processes to develop, evaluate, implement and monitor growth strategies. Facilitates and participates in clinical enterprise strategic plan development.
- Supports identification, evaluation and execution of partnerships for sourcing new strategic growth.
- Project management for strategic growth activities
- Prepares presentations and presents to executive teams.
- Leads interface with business intelligence and analytics teams to ensure accurate and relevant data collection and interpretation. Has familiarity and working knowledge of enterprise dashboards and other data repositories. Ability to perform straight forward analyses as needed.
- In partnership with the FPO, SoM, and senior leadership, supports provider workforce growth planning processes and outcomes.
- Supports leadership in budget development, retreat planning, and other structured planning and coordination efforts as requested.

Leads Service Line growth
- Responsible for organizing, directing and driving service line planning efforts.
- Drives plans to strategically expand the clinical network of care including expansion of inpatient and outpatient services in strategic regions. Works with operators, finance, faculty, clinical leadership, IT, marketing and physician liaisons/market development team to establish new delivery sites.
- Manages the completion of structured, strategically oriented financial feasibility studies including pro forma, capital requirements and ROI. Interprets financial results
- Collaborates with UCSF contracting and other relevant parties to supplement existing relationships and create new partnerships with prospective clients including active participation in critical COE activities
- Supports efforts with local medical groups to assess needs and best mechanism to support their needs and growth of UCSF service lines. Provide business solutions based on knowledge to meet the current and future needs of clinical enterprise.
- Drives coordination with marketing and market development teams to maximize impact of growth strategies.
