  • Navigate various business transformation challenges, including digital transformations and workforce changes
  • Establish and oversee Change Management Offices or Portfolio Change Management functions
  • Mentor a team of practitioners and external consultants in change management best practices
  • Evaluate and report on key performance indicators related to adoption and engagement across digital investment initiatives
  • Incorporate cultural and employee experience factors into change strategies
  • Foster long-term relationships with executives and develop new business opportunities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies and training resources
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance performance.

Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking aDirector, Strategic Change Management in Human Capital Advisory for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead integrated OCM strategies aligned to enterprise transformation objectives across multiple programs
  • Partner with C-suite and senior leaders to shape transformation roadmaps and change narratives
  • Sponsor capability-building initiatives to upskill leaders and teams in change leadership via coaching and leadership development capabilities
  • Capability to drive and lead Change across varying business transformation challenges including but not limited to Global Business Services / Outsourcing transformations, digital transformations/ ERP, AI Adoption and workforce transitions (e.g., cost takeout, M&A, etc.)
  • Build and manage Portfolio Change Management Capabilities or Change Management Offices
  • Lead and mentor a team of change practitioners and external vendors
  • Measure and report adoption, engagement, and change effectiveness KPIs across value-realization metrics tied to digital investments
  • Integrate culture and employee experience into change strategies
  • Develop long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and demonstrate ability to sell new opportunities with existing relationships
  • Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities within existing client projects and account focus, as well as assisting with proposal responses through functional and industry focus
  • Develop strong relationships across KPMG; lead and contribute to the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including contributing to articles, whitepapers, and training efforts
  • Coach and develop teams by providing clear, behaviorally specific performance feedback and specific performance suggestions for improvement in a manner that builds confidence and fosters a safe environment


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant work experience related to change management or human resource consulting; four years in Advisory services within a major consulting firm and experience leading large scale business transformation projects
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline from an accredited college/university; MBA or an advanced degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and leading practices with previous experience with large scale organizational change efforts
  • Experience in Workforce Transformation (e.g., Organizational Design, High Level Talent Strategy Development, Workforce Transition)
  • Strong demonstrated ability in AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, Gemini, etc.), PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, and other Microsoft tools to develop work plans, articulate complex issues, analyze data, and structure information, inclusive of AI Agent development for Change Management and Workforce capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and train staff-level professionals and excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues across onshore and offshore
  • Previous experience in scoping, project management, budget management, and staffing projects and experience managing a portfolio of activities within a project or team; previous experience in setting priorities and balancing competing deadlines desired
  • Travel may be up to 80-100%
