Director, Statistical Programming Director, Statistical Programming provides technical leadership to portfolio delivery and is accountable for Statistical Programming delivery with high quality and efficiently. Cluster Head proactively creates and implements delivery strategies to enable seamless delivery of projects. The incumbent is a key decision maker across indication/disease area execution and delivery strategies related to both risk identification and effective mitigations for all Statistical Programming deliverables assigned. The position will be a key partner to the Therapeutic Area Head in Stats Programming will assists Therapeutic Area Head to ensure successful implementation of Statistical Programming strategies and efficient execution of the statistical analyses for an indication/disease area. This position includes functional management responsibilities including a leader of leaders. In this role, Cluster Head, is responsible for managing employees: set objectives, manage performance, and provide meaningful coaching and feedback. They also support the evaluation and recruitment of potential employees and will work with other Statistical Programming Therapeutic Heads on recruitment and retention. Project Responsibilities: 3Leads statistical programming activities across an indication/disease area and related oversight activities ensuring quality and timeliness3Leads the recruitment and retention strategies for Statistical Programming in collaboration with Statistical Programming LT, HR and Talent Acquisition teams.3Leads statistical programming indication/disease area level strategies3Sets tasks and prioritization across the indication/disease area3Successfully engages cross functionally to progress tasks with proven influencing skills3Leads process improvement initiatives, including identification of areas of improvement3Existing influential internal and external presence on varied statistical programming topics3Provides comprehensive programming leadership and support to complex clinical project teams and vendors, including deployment of programming strategies, standards, specifications and programmed analysis to comply with regulatory requirements, SOPs and work practices3Provides guidance on developing and implementing innovative strategies and technologies for clinical trial programming at program level3Member of Extended Statistical Programming Leadership Team in sharing and building up the line function vision3Challenges status-quo, as appropriate and executes on any changes in process in order to continue driving the efficiency in Statistical Programming Minimum Requirements: 3MS with ~10+ years of industry related experience.3BS with ~12+ years of industry related experience.3Proven track record of leading business process transformations and organizational culture change as well as driving programming expertise on programs with complex business deliverables3Proven track record of attracting and retaining talent3Operational experience in pharmaceutical drug development with significant direct exposure to clinical development3Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry3Proficient knowledge of drug development process, clinical trial methodology, regulatory guidance, industry standards, statistical concepts, and medical terminology used in the analysis and submission of clinical data If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesnt perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway. Compensation Overview: Cambridge Crossing: $242,560 - $293,921 Madison - Giralda - NJ - US: $216,570 - $262,434 Princeton - NJ - US: $216,570 - $262,434 The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employees work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
