Job Title:Director, Senior Portfolio Financing

Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Duties:Originate, structure, and service credit financing products, including securitization financing facilities (like ABLs and CLO warehouses), NAV loans and adjacent derivative-oriented financings. Manage relationships with senior executives at client firms, including chief investment officers, chief financial officers, portfolio managers and treasurers, advising them on financing options suited to their investment strategies. Expand asset classes financed by the desk with a particular focus on asset-backed finance (infrastructure, transportation, real estate, and conventional ABS collateral) and fund financing (secondaries, concentrated pools, etc.). Drive innovation by integrating credit analytics into deal structuring: push intellectual boundaries (devise new products, lend against new collateral types) and build partnerships (with product and sales teams) to deliver novel and holistic solutions. Lead strategic projects for the Group, including partnerships with both borrower and investor clients; as well as the optimization of the Group's balance sheet via structured funding and insurance solutions. Protect balance sheet as "first line of defense": work with Portfolio Management to ensure that collateral is vetted for eligibility and is rated and priced appropriately, and that facilities remain compliant with covenants. Fine-tune financial resources and profitability through syndication, CLO take-outs, and optimization of regulatory capital. Manage, train and develop junior members of the origination and structuring team; ensure transactions are staffed properly accounting for pipeline and bandwidth. Build and maintain relationships of trust with internal control functions (especially RISK and Legal) and represent the team in projects with Middle Office, Treasury, and other functions. Maintain and revamp infrastructure: lead digital transformation by designing, adopting, and evangelizing state-of-the-art technology tools to increase productivity and operational robustness. *Domestic travel required 10% of the time. *Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas Securities Corp. office in New York, NY.

SALARY :$298,854.00 to $325,000.00/ year.

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday Friday)

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Law, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field and twelve (12) years of experience in Finance. Must have twelve (12) years of experience with Internal Collaboration working in partnership with multiple internal deals to achieve risk approvals, deal closing, and operational readiness. Must have eleven (11) years of experience with Contractual Terms Structuring working with internal and external counsels on contractual structuring. Must have nine (9) years of experience with Team Leadership and Training training and organizing more junior members of the team. Must have five (5) years of experience with Client Origination sourcing deals and revenues from clients by initiating and developing relationship. Must have three (3) years of experience with Innovation Driver encouraging/developing new products and new systems for improved revenue generations and/or efficiency. FINRA Certification required: S63 and S7TO.
