Full Job Description
Job Title: Director - Revenue Growth Management (Consumer Channels)

Division: Professional Products Division (PPD)

Location: NY, 10 Hudson Yards (Hybrid)

Reports To: Senior Vice President, Head of Commerce and will work closely with the PPD Brand President & Brand GMs.

The Role: The Professional Products Division is seeking a strategic leader to spearhead the newly formed Revenue Growth Management (RGM) function. This role is a strategic consulting and analytics position designed to drive sustainable, profitable growth across PPD's rapidly evolving consumer-facing channels: Specialty Retail (Sephora, Ulta), Pure Players (Amazon), and D2C.

You will be responsible for building the PPD RGM roadmap from the ground up, translating complex market and consumer dynamics into actionable pricing and promotional strategies. Following the successful model of our Consumer Products Division (CPD), this role serves as a "Category Owner," proactively consulting with Brand, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure our retail brands (like Redken and Kérastase) remain competitive and profitable in the prestige landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • RGM Foundation & Strategy: Build the RGM framework for PPD's consumer channels. Identify initiatives to drive profitable growth and present these roadmaps to senior leadership, division executives, and global RGM teams.
  • Consumer Pricing & Elasticity: Develop pricing recommendations for new and existing products using methodologies such as Choice-Based Conjoint and Van Westendorp. Monitor the prestige channel landscape to ensure PPD brands are optimally positioned.
  • Promotional ROI & Optimization: Evaluate promotional spend across Specialty Retail and E-commerce. Strategize the role of each promotion through a "shopper lens," connecting promotional objectives back to brand-aligned financial goals.
  • Tool & Dashboard Development: Much like the CPD RGM team, you will lead the creation of dashboards and analytical tools to empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions regarding trade spend and mix optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Consultation: Act as a strategic partner to Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations. Use financial modeling to ensure recommendations benefit the consumer, the retailer, and the Division.
  • Intelligence Integration: Combine multiple data sources-including syndicated data (Nielsen/Circana), Amazon data, and primary consumer research-to assess market trends and the competitive landscape.

What we're looking for in our future team members:
  • Influential Storyteller: Ability to explain complex analytics in simple terms and build influence with senior management on strategic topics.
  • Holistic Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop strategies that account for the needs of the consumer, the retailer, and the L'Oréal USA P&L.
  • Relationship Builder: A collaborator who networks across teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance) to maximize the impact of RGM insights.
  • Analytically Minded Problem Solver: Comfortable with ambiguity and dedicated to solving complex business problems through data-driven analysis.

Background and Experience:
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Revenue Management, Strategic Consulting, or Commercial Strategy within CPG or the Beauty industry.
  • Consumer Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of Specialty Retail (e.g., Sephora/Ulta) and E-commerce/Pure Player dynamics.
  • Hands-on Data Experience: Proficient with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI/Circana) and the development of key metrics such as promotional baselines and ROI.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
  • Leadership Presence: Experience managing an internal team or contract analysts, and a proven ability to present to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
  • Brand P&L Experience: Direct experience with financial modeling and product financials.
  • Consumer Research Mastery: Knowledge of discrete choice modeling, Max Diff Scaling, and consumer research methodologies.
  • Visualization Skills: Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to streamline analysis.
  • Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of the Prestige/Professional hair or skincare landscape.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • Salary Range: $138,500 - $200,800
  • Competitive Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Pension Plan)
  • Hybrid Work Policy (3 Days in Office, 2 Days Work from Home)
  • Flexible Time Off (Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Vacation Buy Program, Volunteer Time, Summer Fridays & More!)
  • Access to Company Perks (VIP Access to L'Oréal's Internal Shop for Discounted Products, Monthly Mobile Allowance)
  • Learning & Development Opportunities (Unlimited Access to E-learnings, Lunch & Learn Sessions, Mentorship Programs, & More!)
