Responsibilities

  • Lead engagement with FRBNY Supervisory teams for ongoing activities.
  • Manage supervisory examinations and ensure compliance with regulation.
  • Oversee the Reg HH ANPC filing process, including on-site reviews and advisories.
  • Engage regulators through workshops, meetings, and submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across the three lines of defense.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements in regulatory risk management.
  • Contribute to risk and control testing for Regulatory Relations.

Full Job Description
Job information: - Functional title - Director, Regulatory Relations - Department - Regulatory Relations - Corporate level - Director - Report to - Head of Regulatory Relations - Location - NJ - Base pay / salary (NY/NJ) - 184K-195K Base salary What you will be doing: - Lead CLS's engagement with the FRBNY Supervisory teams for ongoing supervisory activities, the FRB for Regulation HH activities, and the Oversight Committee and the OC Secretariat at the FRBNY. - Manage end to end supervisory examinations, including reg engagement and response / update letters for any required remediation - Manage and lead end-to-end the Reg HH ANPC filings process, including the filing and on-site reviews and advising on the process and imparting subject matter knowledge. If needed, Reg Y filings would be managed similarly to the ANPC process. - Manage BAU engagement with the regulators, including OC workshops/deep dives, continuous monitoring meetings, submissions and deliverables - Collaborate with the three lines of defense and ensure they are involved and engaged, as appropriate. - Continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency and manage regulatory risk - Lead / contribute to the risk and controls testing for Regulatory Relations. What we're looking for: - Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory or legal departments within the financial services industry; J.D. strongly preferred. - Leadership skills in being able to organize and manage large stakeholder pools and meeting tight deadlines - Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders including liaising with the regulators - Acute attention to detail and ability to manage high volume of information and high execution mode of an environment. - Able to work at a DFMU with regulatory scrutiny and fast paced environment - Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and be professional upholding high ethical standards - Subject matter expert in regulatory matters and can develop relationships to be able to provide sound advice to the business divisions - Results oriented and ensures timely delivery and execution - Organized self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a team Professional qualifications / certifications - Bachelor's Degree - Juris Doctor (Strongly preferred) Our commitment to employees: At CLS, we celebrate inclusion and consider this to be one of our strongest assets.
