Job Description:

The Director, Quality Improvement is a strategic and operational, cross-functional leader responsible for the execution and evolution of enterprise-wide initiatives to both address contracted quality measures and related quality initiatives. In addition, this leader will be responsible for data governance of membership-related information and processes for Cityblock contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Develops the system culture and capacity to drive clinical quality improvement (QI), including population health approaches, improvement methodology, and measurement.

  • Collaborates across clinical and non-clinical (operations, technology, compliance, finance) teams to implement enterprise-wide initiatives that advance the adoption of the strategic roadmap for quality.

  • Guides team members within the quality operations support team, and the quality capability more broadly, to liaise closely with market teams to implement and adopt capabilities to address contract quality gaps in care.

  • Provides coaching and technical guidance for quality improvement initiatives related to addressing contracted quality measures: project design; outcome measure selection; data interpretation

  • Lead, implement and continue to evolve the strategic roadmap for Member Data Management.

  • Work with functional leaders, and the Manager, Member Data Steward, to establish and enforce data governance policies and standards specific to member eligibility data.  Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure alignment with data governance principles.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a healthcare-related field (MHA, MBA, MPH, or equivalent) required; clinical background a plus.

  • 7+ years of experience in a healthcare setting (provider, hospital, value-based care, consulting, or health plan) leading quality/performance improvement programs in partnership with clinical and cross-functional teams, including 5+ years applying rigorous QI science methodologies.

  • Demonstrated experience with data governance, member/eligibility data management, or related data stewardship functions, ideally within a healthcare or managed care environment.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across clinical, operations, technology, compliance, and finance functions.

This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave.The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is: 

$125,000.00 - $165,000.00 Annual
