Full Job Description
Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: M-F 8-5

Summary:


In collaboration with the SVP Chief Quality and Safety Officer and the VP Institute of Patient Centered Excellence directs, promotes, and participates in the development and implementation of regulatory, accreditation, and quality assurance requirements throughout The MetroHealth System. Leads the organizational continuous accreditation readiness program and activities. Serves as an organizational resource for accreditation and regulatory requirements for outside agencies including but not limited to The Joint Commission and The Ohio Department of Health. Partners with key stakeholders on quality improvement projects related to regulatory requirements. Manages assigned personnel. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.In lieu of degree, any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.
  • 5 years of progressive quality improvement or accreditation experience.
  • Possesses Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), or Lean Six-Sigma training or obtains within 18 months of hire.
  • Demonstrated skills in management, organizational planning, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between facilities.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.


Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in related field.
  • Registered Nurse or other Licensed Healthcare Professional with current Ohio licensure,Management experience in Quality and/or Accreditation.
  • Physical Demands:
  • May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
  • May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
  • Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
  • Ability to read job related documents.
  • Ability to use computer.
