Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced security leader to lead protective services within our Global Security organization. This role will manage a team of security professionals to oversee the safety and security of Sandisk employees and executives across four key functional areas - executive security, travel security, event security, and protective intelligence. This position will report to the Chief Security Officer and will liaise closely with the head of Security Operations, members of the executive leadership team, and other key stakeholders to monitor and manage threats and proactively mitigate security risks associated with travel and events. This role will serve as a trusted and strategic partner across the organization, balancing effective risk management with our collaborative, innovative, and people-first culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the executive-security program, including risk assessments, executive transportation, travel-security planning, protective operations, and vendor management.
- Manage travel-related security, including capabilities for travel-related risk assessment, tracking of business travel, employee communication regarding travel risks, and employee support during business travel.
- Oversee security strategy and planning for Sandisk-hosted events and external events involving key Sandisk personnel, collaborating closely with the head of Security Operations regarding operational execution and staffing.
- Lead and enhance our capabilities and processes relating to protective intelligence, including response to external and insider physical risks, threat assessment, and persistent PII monitoring and remediation for staff and executives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies, policies, and procedures for effectively delivering protective services in a manner aligned with Sandisk's business objectives, risk exposure, and regulatory requirements.
- Build, manage, and develop an effective protective-services team, cultivating a strong performance culture that aligns with Sandisk's values and ensuring clear roles, effective communication, and professional development across the team.

- Ability and willingness to work irregular work hours to handle emergencies and off-hour security needs.
- Required to travel as needed, both domestic and international, with duration dependent on security needs.
QualificationsREQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise security, law enforcement, or military with at least 3 years of experience in executive protection.
- Proven experience managing protective-services teams for public officials or multinational corporations.
- Strong background in physical and personal risk assessment, threat intelligence, crisis management, and emergency response.
PREFERRED:
- Law enforcement and/or intelligence background preferred.
- Professional certifications (CPP, ITPM, and others) preferred.

- The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
- You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.
