Director of Project Management Postion OverviewThis position serves as both a strategic leader and hands-on project management professional, partnering with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals, delivered on time and within scope, and supported by clear documentation, training, and measurable outcomes.
This role is responsible for overseeing complex initiatives that may include new products and services, process improvements, compliance-driven changes, systems implementations, and other cross-functional business initiatives. In addition, also provides direct leadership to the project management team, with a strong focus on coaching, accountability, and performance.
What you'll do:- Lead credit union-wide projects from strategy through implementation
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication
- Coach and develop the project management team
- Support initiatives involving operations, compliance, new products, and technology
What you'll bring:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field and/or 10+ years of related experience in financial services, operations, and project management
- Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) certification and business process design and improvement training or certification(s).
- Proven people management and leadership experience
- Strong background in project planning, execution, risk management, and process improvement
- High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work across business, technical, and executive teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
The salary ranges for positions are based on current market industry studies as well as job evaluations. During the offer phase Management will determine the appropriate compensation within the compensation range based on experience, education and internal equity.
The salary range for this position is $140,000-$175,500
