Overview

Horizon Media is seeking aDirector, Program Managementtoprovide strategicprogram managementleadershipfor a dedicated programatone of our largestand most strategicclients. The focus of this role will beorganizingdelivery acrossmultipleworkstreams in a way that is strategic, efficient, and collaborative.This person will lead specific initiatives as neededas well.The rolerequires a strategic thinker and execution leader who can align diverse stakeholders 6 ranging frommedia, technology, data and executive client leadership.Media agencyorMarTechexperiencefrom a technology perspective and strong client facing skills are essential.They will be accountable for successful delivery,process, project management, and communicationacross theprogramwhile working closely with executivestakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating large-scale, dynamic enterprise environments, coordinating efforts across multiple business units, and ensuring thatour productsand servicesdeliveron theirvision of transforming data-driven marketing through AI-powered intelligence and automation.This person isan expert at project and program management.They are knowledgeableon the details of media buying and the MarTech ecosystem that supports it.

*IMPORTANT: Please note that this position will require weekly, in-office presence at our client's office in Boston, MA, 3 x per week*

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program Leadership & Execution

  • Overseeend-to-end program executionacrossmultiple initiativeswhileensuringthey arealignedwiththe clientsbroader business strategy.

  • Manageacomplex, multi-stakeholder program spanningmedia,product development, data strategy,partnerships, andMarTech.

  • Build and maintain detailed project roadmaps,project plans,dependencies, risks, and solutions acrossworkstreams.

  • Manageprogram risk and governance frameworks, defining clear decision-making structures, accountability, and prioritization.

  • Establishtimelines and ensure successful executionoftheprogram per strategic goals and expected outcomes.

  • Execute thefoundationalproject and program management activitiesnecessary for the program to be successful; meeting notes, projects plans, RACIs,Jira, charters, etc.

  • Facilitate communicationamong stakeholders so that they are informed with the right information at the right time to make decisions.

  • Proactively identify risks and issuesalong with mitigation strategies

  • Partner with team leads toscope work and identify capacity needs

  • Constantly optimize the teambased on performance and needs

  • Partner withworkstreamleads to strategize themost effective process for deliveringagainst desired outcomes

ProgramCoordination & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a central liaison acrossall team members, including but not limited toMedia,Product&Data, Engineering,Marketing Science,Client Architects, BSTs,etc.to ensure seamless collaboration and execution

  • Facilitate engagementamong internal and clientstakeholdersto alignprogram deliverableswith the clients strategic goals

  • Lead senior-level discussions,ensuring alignmentwith leadership and driving consensus acrosseach program.

  • Proactivelyidentify new workstreams, issues, challenges, etc. that would increase the teams chances for success

Contribute to Process Creation, Tool Selection, and Team Building

  • Lead process development efforts to establish ways or working across the Program Management team

  • Source and launch new tools that will allow the team to be more efficient and effective

  • Take on internal projects to elevate how we do Program Management and service stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ yearsof experience inprogramand projectmanagementinan agency, ad tech, mediaconsultancyor SaaS environment

  • Strong understanding ofAI, data platforms, ad technology, and media investment strategies

  • Excellent client relationship skills

  • Experienced and knowledgeablein media,MarTech, andtechnology

  • Strong meeting facilitator who is comfortableplanning and leading meetings at all levels

  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership. Willing to jump in and lead to get the job done.

  • Proven ability tomanage large-scale, cross-functional technology and business initiativesin a complex corporate environment

  • Strongstakeholder management and communication skills, witha track recordof working withseniorleadership

  • Expertatbuilding project plans, managing risks, and team leadership

  • Proficiencyinprogram management and collaboration tools(JIRA, Monday.com).

  • PMP, Agile, orSAFecertification is a plus.

  • Candidate shouldbe located inthe Boston area

Salary Range

$160,000.00 - $200,000.00

A successful applicants actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individuals skill sets, experience, training, education,licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
