Specific Responsibilities Would Include
The Director of Production manages the development, costing, order placement, and overall product execution. The Director is responsible for all follow up with factories/cross functional teams in order to ensure quality product and timely delivery. They will be responsible for Under Armour Underwear.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of global sourcing, vendor management, and production and manufacturing.
- Partner with Design, Sales, Business Planning, Off Shore Offices to increase margins, scale production capacity, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy to optimize cost, speed, agility and supply across direct materials and finished goods.
- Lead price negotiations, new supplier vetting, and strategic supplier relationships.
- Oversee end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and execution from initial raw material procurement to shipping to internal warehouses.
- Partner Business Planning / Forecasting teams to align production capacity with sales forecasts and inventory management.
- Build out replenishment models in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Lead sourcing and production team while providing tools, technology and support to grow within the organization.
- Build cross-functional and collaborative communication across Design, Sales,Business Planning, Forecasting, and Finance.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
- Creativity, technical capability and sensibility for merchandising/design
- Knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques specifically relating to sportswear and baby
- 5-7 years experience in intimates/underwear production and sourcing

Salary Range: $120,000 - $145,000
