In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways: - Operational discipline and risk reduction: Strengthen the incident, problem, change, and escalation management processes, reducing repeat issues, audit findings, control gaps, and operational risk.
- Team and organizational leadership: continue to build and lead a high-performing global production services organization, with strong talent development, clear accountability, effective succession planning, and consistent execution across regions.
- Continuous improvement and automation and AI solutions: Drive productivity and service quality gains through automation, observability, process simplification, and proactive identification/remediation of systemic issues.
- Establish stakeholder confidence and business partnership: Establish credibility with engineering, business, and operations stakeholders by providing clear governance, transparent communication, and dependable support for business-critical services.
- Service reliability and platform stability: You will be measured on improvement in availability, resiliency, SLA performance, incident reduction, and faster restoration of service for critical platforms.
To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following: - Extensive leadership experience in global production services / application support, with responsibility for large-scale, mission-critical platforms across multiple regions, including follow-the-sun support models and geographically distributed teams.
- Proven experience leading incident, problem, and change management functions, with a strong track record of improving platform stability, reducing recurring issues, and driving disciplined service recovery in high-pressure environments.
- Deep technical and operational experience across production environments, including monitoring, observability, resiliency, automation, infrastructure, middleware, cloud, and application support within complex enterprise ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead senior stakeholders and drive strategic service improvements, including operating model transformation, governance, risk and control oversight, workforce planning, and execution against reliability, availability, and service performance objectives.
- Hands on experience with Windows and Linux Operating systems, SSSDLC & CICD pipelines, messaging platforms including Kafka and MQ. JAVA, Python and other scripting languages.
- Bachelor9s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial. 12+ years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology required experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $127,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
