This role unifies business development leadership with product and portfolio strategy ownership, ensuring that Quantum space growth initiatives are tightly connected to customer needs, differentiated offerings, and accelerated New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI).

The position owns end-to-end growth execution-from market and customer discovery, strategic partnerships, business case development, and pipeline creation, through offering strategy, commercialization, and global go-to-market execution. The role operates at the intersection of sales, product, engineering, and strategy, influencing both near-term revenue growth and long-term portfolio investment decisions.

With significant exposure to senior leadership and high strategic visibility, this position offers exceptional potential for top performers to advance into broader leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development, Strategy & Market Growth Leadership
  • Lead and evolve Quantum business development across Europe, and North America identifying high-impact opportunities and building strategic partnerships to unlock new revenue streams.
  • Lead strategic discussions that translate customer priorities into scalable solutions, differentiated value propositions, and long-term partnerships.
  • Drive net-new customer acquisition and market penetration by developing targeted strategies, value propositions, and structured playbooks for priority accounts.
  • Own deal-shaping strategies, including solution bundling, pricing frameworks, and partnership models to maximize business impact and margin.
  • Evaluate and execute geographic expansion strategies, assessing market, regulatory, and commercial readiness across key European regions and North America.
  • Lead greenfield and innovation initiatives by validating emerging technologies, conducting market and feasibility assessments, and incubating pilot programs to scale next-generation concepts.

Product & Portfolio Strategy (NPI / NPD Integration)
  • Shape the Quantum Space portfolio strategy to ensure commercial offerings are aligned with:
    • Market demand, Customer workflows, Regulatory requirements
  • Drive customer discovery and market insights to inform investment priorities and offering roadmaps.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and R&D to guide:
    • New Product Development (NPD)
    • New Product Introduction (NPI)
    • Feature prioritization and lifecycle management
  • Own or influence business cases, ROI models, and financial justification for portfolio investments.
  • Ensure rapid commercialization, launch readiness, and market adoption of new offerings globally.


Qualifications

The annual base salary range for this position is $200,000-250,000 in Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

The Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP security clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 10+ years in senior business development, offering strategy, product leadership, or GTM roles, ideally within Quantum sensing and or Communication, space market, or complex B2B solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing or leading:
    • New Product Development (NPD)
    • New Product Introduction (NPI)
    • Portfolio strategy and commercialization

WE VALUE
  • Experience in the Quantum industry and or Space Industry, with strong exposure to Qauntum Communication, infrastructure, or cyber environments.
  • Proven success driving revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships in Quantum and Space.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including business case development, pricing strategy, and investment prioritization.
  • Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization.
