Job Summary

Position: Director Practice Operations

Location: Asa Yancey & East Point Health Center

Department: Ambulatory Services

As a Director of Practice Operations, responsibilities include planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating, and controlling the operations of all assigned practices. The Practice Operations Director works collaboratively with practice physicians to ensure the efficient and effective daily operation of the practice including, but not limited to, the supervision and evaluation of the practice staff and all practice operations, budget management and financial oversight and review, and business process analysis and redesign when warranted.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, health administration or related discipline

Experience
  • Minimum five years management experience within a hospital or physician practice operation
  • Able to demonstrate experience with identifying opportunities and managing change.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or MHA

  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with physicians
  • Strong command of the principles associated with financial analysis, strategic planning, physician practice operations, and healthcare information systems
