Point of Care Team Summary

The Point of Care team is responsible for development and ownership of the Point of

care strategy and activation.

Position Summary

The Director, Point of Care, leads the Point of Care team's Point of Care marketplace efforts by providing functional management and leadership to a team of Point of Care Associate Directors & Supervisor. They owns the Point of Care media plan story, quality of work output, contributes to new POC solutions, manages and trains direct reports., and can be adaptable to the ever-changing needs of the marketplace.

The goal for this role is to support client Point of Care marketplace initiatives and help develop and maintain PHM Point of Care partnerships.

  • You will have a strong understanding of how the agency works and how jobs flow throughout
  • You will have a strong understanding of client's business and goals
  • You will an expert understanding how client business objectives translate into Point of Care marketplace strategies
  • You will have am expert understanding of the overall Point of Care marketplace and partner landscape
  • You will have an expert understanding of Point of Care partnership opportunities, deals and terms
  • You will develop a knowledge PHM's Terms + Conditions and Point of Care partner contracting process


You will be responsible for:
  • The Point of Care channel investment strategy
  • Owns POC tactical recommendation including business rules for office selection and cross franchise strategy
  • Point of contact for Monthly & Quarterly validation and verification of each partner regarding any blocking issue. Confirmation of delivery by office.
  • Accountable for daily execution of Point of Care team tasks
  • Accountable for managing timely delivery of Point of Care team projects and tasks
  • Ensures standard methodologies in Point of Care process, efficiencies, etc.. are implemented and operational
  • Accountable for ongoing Marketplace intelligence + POVs
  • Accountable for POC marketplace 101s and education days
  • Drives POVs on new investment offerings, processes and technologies
  • Responsible for assignment and execution of ad hoc projects

Internal + External Relationships
  • Responsible for developing talent, delegating appropriately, and ensuring teams are working smoothly
  • Accountable for managing and prioritizing team assignments
  • Provides clear, regular communication regarding client and project goals, prioritization and measures of success to all key stakeholders
  • Fosters a positive work environment
  • Provides expertise and shares knowledge with junior team members
  • Delivers constructive, actionable feedback to team
  • Continues to develop working relationships with client contacts as necessary
  • Strong relationships with Point of Care media partners and point of escalation for partners and Point of Care team
  • Collaborates internally with leadership across capabilities and teams
  • Strong relationships with key Groupe teams, PMX, APEX
  • Contributes to new business efforts as needed
