Full Job Description
The Role at a Glance:

The Planning Services Director leads the Managed Solutions Planning team, overseeing strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of planning and project management services. This role has direct supervisory responsibility for Planning Services team members, including performance management, coaching, development, and workforce planning, and provides functional oversight of contingent and third-party planning resources as needed. Partnering closely with Account Management and Operations, the Director ensures resources are effectively allocated, projects aligned with defined scopes, and client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

How You'll Contribute:

In this role, you will drive accountability for the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all planning deliverables across projects and programs. while mentoring, training, and developing team members to support strong performance and career growth.

You will foster a collaborative, high-performing culture across Planning Services and cross-functional teams, while actively supporting hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning. As the owner of the Planning Services offering, you will lead its development, standardization, and continuous evolution to align with client needs and market trends and serve as a subject matter expert in client-facing engagements when needed.

You will partner closely with Operations to forecast, allocate, and balance resources, monitor project health and utilization, and ensure sustainable delivery. Additionally, you will provide senior-level guidance on complex or high-visibility projects, oversee planning quality and downstream outcomes, and maintain best practices, tools, and methodologies.

This role also includes contributing to budgeting and performance analysis, supporting sales and solution development efforts, assisting with bids and estimates, and driving continuous improvement through lessons learned and participation in strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education/Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, preferably in business, construction management, facilities management, or real estate
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio management
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
