Responsibilities The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the overall operational administration of the Outpatient Services Department. As a member of Senior management, this position ensures the developement, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistant with the facility's goals and objectives, and actively participates in a leadership role by consulting with facility management in designing and providing total patient care and services. Reports directly to the Associate Administrator while maintaining a collaborative working relationship and communication with all Senior Management members. The Director works cooperatively with other management team members to ensure that each patient as a positive clinical experience with the best possible outcome.

Qualifications Job Requirements Education: Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or Social Services required.
Licensure: LMSW, LCSW or LPC required.Experience: 5-8 yrs prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an outpatient setting.
Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of management, supervision, patient case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, A thorough knowledge of Joinr Commission, Medicare, OSHA regulations, and all other State and Federal regulatory standards. A thourough knowledge of Mental Health Laws, Child Abuse/Neglect/Maltreatment Laws, and DHS provider agreement. Ability to analyse situations, evaluate data, reccommend/implement courses of actionthat would improve the functioning of the systems/processes in which he/she is involved. Ability to recognize the importance of adapting to the various patient age groups (adolescent, adult and geriatric). Must have excellant leadership and interpersonal skills. Effective oral and written communication.
