Gulfport Behavioral Health System (a UHS facility):

Located on the beautiful MS Gulf Coast Gulfport Behavioral Health System is a 92-bed psychiatric hospital offering child, adolescent, adult, substance abuse, and military service behavioral health programs and treatment services. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for those seeking treatment for mental illness and substance abuse treatment.

Position Summary:

The Outpatient Program Director provides administrative and clinical supervision for Outpatient Services staff;. Develops and administers a comprehensive system of outpatient services that respond to the community's needs and support the organization's overall mission, philosophy, and goals. The Director is responsible for the overall quality and fiscal management of the Outpatient services program.

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.

Experience: Prefer three (3) years' experience and in a psychiatric health care facility or PHP/IOP progrm with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.

Licensure : LCSW, LMSW or LPC license to practice in the State of Mississippi required.
