Phoenix, AZ!The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight of operational functions to ensure alignment with UCT's business objectives. This role is responsible for developing and executing departmental plans, managing cross-functional teams, and driving operational excellence. The position ensures that policies, procedures, and resources are effectively implemented to meet performance goals, support business growth, and deliver customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Organizational Planning
- Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of strategic departmental plans.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment and commitment to operational goals.
- Respond effectively to dynamic business challenges and drive organizational agility.
- Coach and manage direct reports to achieve performance targets and support strategic initiatives.
- Management Accountabilities
- Oversee operations including administration, finance, IT, facilities, and HR functions.
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets to support business needs.
- Identify and implement alternative business methods to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Support the COO and executive leadership in strategic planning and infrastructure readiness.
- Represent operational interests in cross-functional leadership forums.
- Business Accountabilities
- Develop tools and systems to support operational activities and financial performance.
- Ensure departmental goals are met across multiple functions.
- Drive innovation to improve internal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Make decisions that significantly impact operational execution and financial results.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience: - Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong public speaking and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Sound judgment in resolving politically sensitive challenges and navigating organizational dynamics.
- In-depth knowledge of the semiconductor or capital equipment industry and financial operations.
- Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on operational excellence and business alignment.
Education, Certifications, Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred, in Business Administration, Engineering, or Finance.
- 10+ years of related experience in a fast growth-oriented semiconductor/capital equipment organization.
- 5 years managerial experience in semiconductor/capital equipment/manufacturing operations environment including technology development and operational improvement.
