About the Role:

We are seeking a Director, Asset Management to oversee a portfolio of operating power generation assets and lead the development and execution of major maintenance, modernization, and upgrade projects. This role combines technical, commercial, and project management responsibilities, requiring a leader who can drive complex initiatives from concept through execution while partnering closely with plant operations, vendors, OEMs, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring deep power generation experience, strong commercial acumen, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to optimizing asset performance and delivering long-term value across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Manage a portfolio of operating power generation assets.
  • Manage development of major maintenance projects for the operating assets.
  • Manage development of power generation modernization and upgrade projects.
  • Create enterprise level major maintenance models.
  • Project Ownership, from creating the RFQ, through the Award and Execution phases.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to the operating assets.
  • Provide Project Management oversite to multiple projects.
  • Provide vendor management and oversite, including strategic interface with power generation OEM’s and Key Suppliers.
  • Evaluate business cases, estimate returns, budgets, cash flow.
  • Prepare presentations related to projects and development status.
  • Act as an agent of the company with counterparties, regulatory bodies, elected officials and others as necessary.
