Director Cardiopulmonary professional Practices, leads, coordinates and evaluates all aspects of practice operations. Serves as an ambassador and client service rep from MMG when interacting with hospital presidents and their teams. Takes pride in this role and realizes that these relationships determine the organizational reputation for MMG. Supports and promotes the vision, mission, and strategic plans of Methodist Health System

Your Job Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or appropriate area of study required
• MHA Preferred
• Certified Medial Practice Executive designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience managing a group practice of six or more physicians
• Preferred 3-5 years of general surgery practice leadership experience
• Prefer 3 to 5 years in a healthcare setting
• Very strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Strong process orientation
• Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving
• Ability to provide vision and leadership
• Ability to plan and schedule the work of others
• Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment

• High level involvement with organizational strategy formulation regarding organizational growth opportunities, within respective divisions of Specialty Care.
• Fosters interdepartmental synergies, to assure optimal support to our employed providers, their patients, and our employees. Collaborates with other departments to promote inter-physician relationships between sub-specialized practices in order to create systems and problem-solve ongoing issues that affect departmental / organizational goals and / or patient care delivery.
• Institutes communication and teamwork to ensure timely delivery of financial reports and data. Possess the ability to deliver analytics to physician clients, office STAFFnd leadership team.
• Assists in the preparation of performas, cost center & division budgets based upon reviews of department estimates / recommendations, familiarity with operating procedures and cost / revenue projections.
• Assures practice leadership appropriately assess staffing levels, and effectively supports optimal provider and staff recruitment efforts.
• Aids practice leadership in evaluating opportunities to promote practice growth through marketing, community involvement and patient satisfaction.
• Maintains knowledge of industry standards and operational impacts to the health of the specialty practice revenue cycle. Promotes education to practice leadership regarding all aspect of the revenue cycle.
• Develops and maintains quality relationships with hospital departmental leaders to ensure MMG provides meaningful operational / fiscal input regarding hospital and / or system-wide strategies and initiatives.
