What You'll Be Doing:The Director, Global Operations will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across the organization's international footprint. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with the company's global objectives. How You'll Succeed:- Develop and implement global operational strategies to drive efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple international locations, ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of regional and functional managers.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices in each operating region.
- Manage operational budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to support business goals.
- Drive the adoption of technology and automation to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
- Support the integration of new business units or acquisitions into the global operational framework.
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and partnership.
Who You Are:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing global or multi-regional operations.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing operational strategies at scale.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience managing diverse teams.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in international operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $165,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
