Full Job Description
Director Operations BMG - Primary Care Summary:

  • Responsible for primary care physician operations with BayCare Medical Group. This includes family medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, pediatricians and other providers as assigned.
  • Works collaboratively in an administrative/medical director dyad to improve quality, develop primary care programs, address practice issues, advance physician relations, and organize operations to best serve our patients.
  • Works collaboratively with cross functional teams for physician recruitment, new practice development, population health and access initiatives, financial management, revenue cycle, and IT systems enhancement.


Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred in an area of business, health care or related field.


Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years leadership experience in medical group management (Practice Administrator/equivalent or higher), healthcare leadership, population health management or transformation leadership.
  • Preferred experience is a combination of medical group management, project management, population health management or transformation leadership.
  • Experience with the successful development of "Value Based Care Clinics" including model development, interdisciplinary clinical teams, key performance metrics and collaboration with population health services organization.
  • Experience with strategic growth and developing new primary care clinics and services.
  • Proven record with driving successful performance outcomes and accomplishing organizational goals. Must demonstrate business acumen through direct leadership experience (meeting needs of internal and external customers, managing financial plans, developing best practices and evaluating emerging and innovative trends; developing high performing teams; innovative solutions to complex problems; develops and executes strategic initiatives/goals to support system success; focus on continuous improvement and providing high quality care and patient experience).

BayCare Ballpark is a baseball stadium located in Clearwater, Florida, in the United States. The stadium was built in 2004 and has a maximum seating capacity of 8,500 people.
