DescriptionDIRECTOR OF STUDENT WELLBEING FOR CLINICAL CARE.Under the supervision of the Dean of Students, the Director of Student Wellbeing for Clinical Care (DSW-CC) will have principal oversight of the daily clinical operations within the Center for Student Wellbeing. The position will set policy and procedure for mental health clinicians in providing acute and crisis care to students. The Director will monitor trends and identify key issues and service needs of the diverse student population. In addition, this position is responsible for the management of the college's Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, providing training to clinicians and oversight of provider case notes and various data analytics. This position will collaborate with campus partners and stakeholders in providing consultation, training, and educational initiatives promoting student well-being. The Director will collaborate with the Director of Student Wellbeing for Strategy and Engagement in determining the operational needs and procedures of the Center for Student Wellbeing.

Duties & Responsibilities- Primary oversight of clinical care services, including the delivery of direct counseling, crisis intervention.
- Provide direct counseling and mental health support to students with a range of mental, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Facilitate group counseling and therapy sessions as determined by student needs.
- Serve as the primary liaison with TimelyCare, including the monitoring of cases handled by TimelyCare clinicians, student appointment thresholds, and continuity of care.
- Supervise clinical and non-clinical Student Wellbeing staff through the development of individual and team goals, monitoring growth and progress, and completing annual performance evaluations.
- Utilize data to assess the effectiveness of current programs and services provided while also identifying areas for improvement.
- Work in partnership with the Director of Student Wellbeing - Strategic Engagement.
- Maintain an updated community referrals list in coordination with the Director of Student Wellbeing for Strategy and Engagement.
- Serve on various campus committees at the direction of the Dean of Students.
- Participate in campus events such as Orientation, Commencement, and Convocation, as needed.
- Perform other related duties and/or responsibilities, as assigned, or required.
Qualifications- Master's degree in social work (MSW), counseling, psychology, or related discipline required.
- Professional licensure and/or certification in the state of IL (LCPC/LCSW) required.
- At least 5 years' of progressively increasing experience in operating a counseling service center and developing programs required.
- Experience in psychology or counseling at the college or university level preferred.
- Experience in cinical supervision, staff supervision, and knowledge of case management software preferred.
- Knowledge of principles and practices in counseling, particularly college students in a purposeful brief treatment model.
- Knowledge of administration and supervisory techniques and practices.
- Knowledge of community-based social services, mental health and student support agencies or facilities, and their functions.
- Ability to counsel students from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Position Minimum Annual Salary: $82,500 annual salaryPosition Maximum Annual Salary: $99,000 annual salaryThe salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including department budget.
