Description

Visual Sound is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to serve as the company's Director of Technical Operations. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure a seamless workflow, drive operational excellence, and align technical initiatives with business objectives.

The Director of Technical Operations should possess strong management skills, a tactical mindset, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership. This role also requires the capacity to streamline processes and manage teams successfully to ensure efficient processes and sustainable growth.

While a technical background (preferably in A/V) is required, this person must also be proficient in supervising others, procedures, budgeting, and putting proposals together.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, drive accountability, and foster collaboration across departments.
  • Setting and executing operational strategies, scaling operations, and using KPIs for data-driven decision-making.
  • Workflow improvements, cost reduction, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • P&L management, budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
  • Implementing new systems, restructuring teams, and improving company-wide efficiencies.
  • Performance reporting and analysis of ongoing operations
  • Familiarity with a similar operational environment is a plus.
