The Role:The Director of Strategic Finance provides strategic financial leadership by partnering with executive leadership and Brand Leaders to drive long-term business performance across emerging growth brands. This role leads financial planning and analysis, develops sophisticated financial models, conducts market and competitive research, and delivers executive-level insights that support strategic decision-making, growth initiatives, and enterprise value creation.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead the FP&A function by overseeing annual budgeting, long-range planning, rolling forecasts, financial reporting, and executive performance analysis.
- Develop complex financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support mergers and acquisitions, market expansion, strategic investments, and other enterprise initiatives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Partner with Brand Operations, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Business Intelligence, and Finance leaders to improve financial performance and drive data-informed business decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you Bring to the Table:Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance.
- Expert-level financial modeling skills with experience supporting executive decision-making in high-growth or private equity-backed organizations.
- Strong leadership experience managing finance teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, presentation, and research skills with the ability to translate complex information into strategic recommendations.

The expected California Pay Range for this position:
$180,000-$180,000 USD
