Director of Solutions Marketing
About the teamMarketing at hx is how we turn a technically complex, niche product into something that stops the right people in their tracks. The team builds authority and demand in a known universe of accounts, crafting narratives and campaigns that travel through the full customer lifecycle. This is strategic B2B marketing in a market where every account matters and the buying decisions are made by chief actuaries, CFOs, and boards.
The US is our fastest-growing market and the opportunity is significant. We're expanding across insurance segments, deepening relationships with some of the world's largest carriers, and building the positioning infrastructure that will underpin our next phase of growth. The Marketing and GTM Engineering team operates with the same intensity as our commercial counterparts, treating go-to-market as a product, not an afterthought.
The
Director of Solutions Marketing exists to make hx's value unmistakable to US insurance buyers and to arm the commercial team with the stories, evidence, and frameworks they need to win. This is a senior, market-facing role that sits at the intersection of narrative craft, sales enablement, and market intelligence. You will own the US solution narrative end to end, and your work will directly shape how hx competes and wins in this market.

- Partner closely with the UK product marketing team to adapt proven global narratives for the US market, translating what works into positioning that resonates with US buyers.
- Drive commercial adoption of the solution narrative by certifying 100% of US sellers within six months of launch, using call review data rather than training completion as the measure of fidelity.
- Develop a repository of US-specific proof points and case studies
- Raise the standard of in-market enablement by ensuring core solution assets appear in US deal cycles
- Own the US content strategy for flagship marketing moments, including HX Live-NY, shaping the narrative and story the market hears at our most visible events.
- Partner with sales on the toughest deals, bringing actuarial and underwriting credibility to how the solution and its value get framed.
- Keep teams informed with clear, regular reporting, pulling together what you're hearing from the field and customers into something useful that others can act on.
What you'll need to have done- Launched a differentiated solution narrative for enterprise buyers in a complex, technical B2B SaaS environment, with evidence it changed how sellers showed up in deals. Insurance or financial services experience is a strong advantage.
- Used AI tools to scale your own work, from analyzing calls to producing content, and can speak credibly to how AI is reshaping go-to-market.
- Partnered with senior commercial leadership as a peer, shaping go-to-market priorities and deal strategy and pushing back when stakeholder pressure pointed the wrong way.
- Supported sales enablement in substantial ways, contributing to the certification, coaching, and feedback loops that improve messaging quality and asset use across a distributed team.
- Built a repeatable way to capture field and customer signal and turn it into positioning decisions or content others could act on.
- Engaged actuaries and underwriters credibly on complex topics, or shown you can immerse yourself in an unfamiliar industry and reach real depth fast while keeping the narrative sharp.
