Role Overview:The Director of Sales, Technology Delivery is responsible for originating and closing API integration, software engineering, and systems implementation engagements.
This role requires strong technical commercial fluency and the ability to sell engineering outcomes while maintaining alignment with architectural feasibility and delivery capacity.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of enterprise technology delivery opportunities from prospecting through close across 3PLs, retailers, and enterprise clients.
- Lead early discovery around business objectives, user needs, existing systems, technical constraints, delivery priorities, and investment rationale.
- Own pricing, proposal development, and negotiation.
- Partner closely with FIQ's architecture, product, engineering, delivery, consulting, and executive teams to shape pursuits, validate solution fit, and present a credible delivery path to clients.
- Shape opportunities across product strategy, custom software, modernization, architecture, integrations, data platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and ongoing product development.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities across consulting and implementation.
- Maintain ongoing client relationships.
What you bring:- A strong record of achieving revenue targets through the sale of technology delivery, custom software, digital transformation, modernization, or related technical services.
- Experience in a technology services, digital engineering, supply chain technology, cloud, data, AI, enterprise implementation, or consulting environment where the sale required both commercial discipline and technical fluency.
- A consultative sales approach focused on business outcomes, transformation value, and long-term client impact rather than staff augmentation, rate-card selling, or transactional project placement.
- Practical fluency across modern application development and relevant areas such as architecture, cloud, APIs and integrations, data, AI, user experience, or platform modernization.
- Strong judgment about when to recommend discovery, assessment, roadmap, pilot, initial build, or a broader transformation program.
- A demonstrated ability to create new pipeline, open enterprise relationships, manage multi-stakeholder pursuits, and close complex services opportunities.
- Executive presence and the ability to communicate technical concepts in clear business language.
