Your responsibilities: As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for working directly with the General Manager to maximize revenues in all outlets and ensure customers have a memorable experience.

Some of your responsibilities include:
  • Thoroughly knowledgeable with regard to client base. Has a strong business relationship with top producing clients.
  • Maintains awareness of the sales practices of the hotels' competitive sets, and, as warranted, takes proactive steps to "neutralize" their efforts.
  • Based on the hotels' sales strategies and the client's needs, books the appropriate pieces of business to achieve/exceed monthly total revenue budget.
  • Gains contact and business intelligence, shows community spirit through involvement in an industry and/or charitable organizations.
  • Actively and appropriately uses Delphi to enter in all required sales/community information. Ensure consistent traces are being made & timely follow-up is occurring, account saturation and client potential, bookings, etc.
  • Utilizes available business tools to prospect for new business to include the Amadeus platform.
  • Collects and analyzes historical data to build strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Adds to the camaraderie of the hotels by helping to celebrate the successes of everyone.
  • Assists with departmental training, continues to monitor, assist and provide "teaching moments" while on property. Provide feedback when appropriate.
